I’m interested to learn if any other internal or external tubing materials have been tried for dosing. Specifically I am interested to know if anyone has used Pharmed BPT. For external tubing, I am also considering PEEK. Both types are biocompatible and autoclavable. Thanks!
Hi Kevin!
We use both: PEEK inside the vial of the Pioreactor (connected to the the waste line) and Tygon inside the peristaltic pumps of our older custom minibioreactors.
No problem with them, even after years of autoclaving cycles and harsh chemicals.
Thank you! I found some 1mm ID 3mm OD T-Alimen tubing to try, which looks similar to Pharmed.
