PIO1: Constant red “PWR” light, responds to “identify” with blue light but pioreactor.service is missing (Unit pioreactor.service could not be found). Unable to reinstall Pioreactor software due to internet connectivity issues (fails to download pioreactor_install.sh).
PIO2/PIO5/PIO6: Green lights are on but do not respond to “identify.” Devices are connected to a local Wi-Fi network created by my computer, which has internet via Ethernet, but the Pioreactors cannot access the internet.
Questions:
How do I fix the missing pioreactor.service on PIO1 and resolve the constant red light?
How do I get PIO2/PIO5/PIO6 to respond to commands and verify their connectivity?
How can I correctly route internet from my computer’s Ethernet to the Pioreactors via local Wi-Fi?
I’m not sure - there is no pioreactor.service at all in our software - where are you seeing this? Likewise, pioreactor_install.sh is not a file in our software.
For 02,05,06, can you ssh into them from your computer? Ex: ssh pioreactor@PIO2.local - can you log in? Once there, can you run something like pio blink - does that work?
This is possible, but is OS specific. Are you using a Windows, Mac, or Linux?
both the “service” and the “install.sh” were ideas I got from the “pioreactor experiment builder” in chat GPT. I now understand it was an hallucination of his, I apologize for that.
I am using windows, I can SSH into the pioreactors, but I can’t control them through the web interface. the command “pio blink” didn’t work either.
it seems that pio1 (the leader) can connect to the computer but not to the other workers.
it all happened after I pulled out the SD card from pio 4 to see whether the password has changed. At the moment (after putting back the card) pio4 is the only worker that still responds to the app
