Help on pressure reactors!

Hello everyone! I hope this is a good place to ask my question.

I am doing a PhD in liquid fermentations to produce different organoleptic compounds. I need to simulate a small-scale fermentation tank that can withstand up to 5 Bar (≈ 72.5 PSI) of pressure.

I would also like to incorporate some sensors into this tank, although I know that can be challenging. I initially considered buying a keg, but they don’t come with sensor ports, and their volumes are too large (I need a maximum of 5L). Then I thought about using a Pyrex laboratory bottle, as the GL45 caps allow for certain sensors to be attached. However, the issue is that they cannot withstand more than 1 Bar of pressure.

Does anyone know of any equipment that could work, or have any ideas?

Any input would be amazing!

Wishing everyone a great week!

I have made a pressure vessels before using ABS pipe/fittings and got it to hold 5 bar using a bike pump. It held for weeks. Needs some elbow grease and a good technique in tapping the vessel lid with all threaded sensors to prevent leaks.

Hey this is awesome! I got the part of the ABS but Im confused with what container you used to hold your liquid… Thanks!
