How can I make the Pioreactor growth curves more fine-grained?

Hi everyone,

I’m running an experiment in Pioreactor and I noticed that the curves in the overview, especially the implied growth rate, look quite coarse and step-like instead of fine-grained.

I’m wondering whether there is a way to get a smoother / more detailed curve with more intermediate data points.

Hi @Johannes_89,

What software version are you on?

The issue (since resolved in more recent versions) is that the date your experiment started at is wrong (June 23rd, 2025), which causes the data points to look very sparse in the Overview.

Before your next experiment, update the clock under Inventory → Leader → cluster clocks card.

But also I suggest updating the software.
