Properly citing the Pioreactor system, the forum, and its wonderful developers

Hey there Pioreactor community, I am wondering how you all normally create a proper citation for using the Pioreactor system and getting assistance from the Pioreactor community as well as its developers like Cameron.

Does anyone have an example of how they’ve done it both in the context of a journal article, and perhaps less concise academic work like a master or PhD thesis? Is this something that gets added to the acknowledgements section?

This will be relevant for our group now and in the future, and I hope to give credit where it is due.

Thanks <3
