Timestamp markers

Hey Pioreactor Team,

I’m working with data from the PIOs right now, and I realized that I sometimes need to trace back timings—for example, sampling time. For now, I would need to trim data as I want to keep the PIOs running with proper mixing exactly until sampling time, but then I do not want to directly shut down OD readings because I might need to sample multiple PIOs at the same time. But I was thinking it would be helpful to have a button to “mark” timestamps. Just a simple button that creates a file with markers for each PIO unit. So in the end, I could just trace back [to see] this was the exact time when I sampled something.

Are you thinking of chart annotations? (Something like this but not as verbose: JavaScript Charts: Annotations | AG Charts)

Create a file? Are you thinking of a dataset export you can view?
