Waste pump error

We have a problem with one of our waste pumps. I cannot start a dosing event because it thinks that it is running at the moment. It is however not running, and the corresponding PWM channel is at 0%. I’ve rebooted the pioreactor unit and power cycled, but if I open the Dosing menu it still shows that the waste pump is running. I’ve attached the pump to another pioreactor, and it can be started from there, so I suspect it has to do with the software and not the hardware.

We have also tried running pio kill --all-jobs after ssh-ing into the worker and then rebooting. A job was killed but the waste pump was still shown as on in the UI.

This might be unintuitive: but you would need to restart the leader. However, a better solution is to ssh into the worker, pio22, and run

pio run waste_pump --duration 0.01

I think that will clear it. The problem is a caching issue on the leader.

Thanks, that fixed it indeed! All solved
