Hi everyone,
The issue me and other colleagues are facing is that when we run turbidostat or even chemostat automations, it seems as if the “volume calculating” built in software of the pioreactors only takes the added volume into account and not the removed volume. This means that in the UI the volume keeps getting higher and higher for every dilution and at some point hits the “Max_volume_to_stop” value and thereby pauses the dosing automation that is active.
I have no idea what could be the issue here.
Best regards,
Mathias
Hi @Ms2013DT
hmm, this sounds perhaps similar to what Scheduled OD Sampling of External Bio Reactor Culture - #9 by Karm.RFA is experiencing! Let me investigate today.
I’m not able to reproduce this locally (and I think the other thread is a configuration issue). I’ll keep investigating!
@Ms2013DT can you send me your logs dataset export and liquid volumes dataset export for any experiment that encountered this problem? Email us at info@pioreactor.com
The issue was a configuration problem. Fixed by setting more appropriate values for configuration max_volume_ml
and max_volume_to_stop
(for their system)
